PopPhoto Poses with Lindsay Adler – Wedding Poses edition App Reviews

This looks and works like something that a 7 year-old developed. On my iPad the app doesnt even rotate to the current screen orientation (sometimes the content is fully UPSIDE DOWN). I regret spending the money. Youre better off looking on Pinterest for ideas.

All I get is a black screen on my iPod Touch. 0 stars for this.

Meh its great but you guys are HORRIBLE for making apps user friendly. Mainly due to the fact it dosnt rotate. U know not all iPad cases are made the way u see your app. Same with ur pop science app, Id like to read it in landscape mode how my case holds my pad but nooooooo u think everyone wants to just read it like that. It is a huge piss off. So much so that u would usually get 4 stars but until u change the flipping issue u get 2 stars

Although there are great poses and some tips, they are some downfalls to this app. For a photography app I find it very disappointing that its not scaled or optimized for the retina display. There are lots of poses but Im surprised that theres not more in each of the categories. There level of polish is just not found in the app, easily fixable with a overhaul update. Im a big fan of Lindsay Adler and her work. I wish this app would live up to her style and standard. -Christos S.

This app is crap.Doesnt rotate so you have to rotate your iPad otherwise you looking at it upside down. On preview it shows only couple of poses,if I would have known what the rest of the poses were I would have never bought this app. Once youve seen first 5 youve seen them all. Dont waist your $

This is probably the poorest quality app on my iPad. Lindsays advice is half decent but totally ruined by poor audio and app quality.

As a 5+ year wedding photographer, this app has excellent poses and guides to really help you create a well balanced album of images. I put up with the app not being perfect because the image guide and poses are probably the best Ive purchased. I WOULD BUY AGAIN. :)

All poses nearly same ... And almost with 85 mm poses... İts bad :(( i cant believe myself to bought this app ...

If you are any kind of portrait photographer this will make you a better one. I have been to two of Lindsays classes Lightroom and Adding a Fashion Flair to wedding and portrait photography. I also have both her books as well. With that said, I know I would not be the photographer I am today without the learning I did with this informative talented women. This app is like taking her with me on a shoot. She is showing you how she does the cutting edge fashion work she does. Its like a magician teaching you his secrets. Wonderful layout and just as good as her lectures and books. Wonderful. 5 stars.

Posing is one of the hardest part of photography so when you find an app that teaches you how to pose people and shows you pictures so you have a reference is very helpful. Love the app... Everything Lindsay does is amazing.

We often think about adding a new lens to our arsenal, but this app is a great addition to any portrait photographers kit. When Lindsay Adler and Popular Photography team up, its definitely a win for the users of this app! If you ever have attended one of Lindsays classes or read her books, you know shes a great teacher and likes to share her knowledge and her inspiration on a shot or topic. This app allows her to continue this sharing in a well designed and easy fashion for a small price. The poses are organized in a coherent fashion, with many ways to access info about a shooting setup like camera angles and lighting. Theres also a nifty tips button too that brings this info into a larger display area useful for iPhone users. You can tell Lindsay has a flair for taking great shots in all the material. This app shows some flair too! Highly recommended!

This app is laid out really well. I love the variety of poses. Ive been a professional photographer for 3 years and I know posing is one of the tougher things for clients. I love the app allows me to create a folder of my favorite poses so I can show my client a visual of what I want them to do. If I were to change one thing about the app, Id like the option to upload photos of other poses I like. That option would definitely make it 5 stars for me!

bought it..enjoying it..very good app..recommended for all especially wedding photographers.. +ve points: 1. technical talk (effects used, lighting setup, and angle explained briefly), 2. settings used (lens, aperture, iso, shutter speed, etc2.) 3. high res image for ipad 2, 4. video included for some tips and explanation.. -ve points: 1. scrolling down the images seems endlessly..only to notice that it automatically goes back to the first image..shouldve include scroll bar 2. only for couples Overall, im very satisfied with this app..worth every cents..!!

V 1.0 does not work on iPod touch 4th gen, iOS 5.0.1. Hopefully an update will fix this.

App is great however on my iPad ios5 it doesnt rotate from landscape and it only supports landscape on one side. Its kind of annoying.

I really want the app to work but it doesnt on my iTouch with IOS 5.0.1. When I launch it, the screen goes black and nothing after that. There is a web site for the app but no sign of any tech support. I waited for a couple of weeks before posting a review hoping an update would be out but nothing. I dont get understand how an app that has problems get no response from the developer or POPPhoto. I wonder if this was ever tested on an iTouch.

Does not work. Screen goes black on start up and will not run on iPod touch OS5. No tech support.
